The 2008 Beaver Valley Red 9 year old team just completed a sensational season that found them ranked number three in the nation in the Final http://www.travelballselect.com Top 40. Beaver Valley Red compiled a 53 and 6 record against some of the best competition that travel ball has to offer, winning on such national stages as Ripken in Aberdeen, MD and Sports at the Beach in Rehoboth, DE. The team had a 22 and a 27 game winning streak.

At the prestigious Triple Crown Summer Nationals in Myrtle Beach in late July, Beaver Valley Red finished second in a tournament full of great teams. The team features a bevy of pitchers who throw hard and throw strikes, and the team uses Strikeout Strippz to train its staff.

Check out this note from Steve & Jill D., whose sons Dan & Nick played on the East Troy baseball team in the American Legion summer league. They won their regional championships and progressed to the state tournament:

During the American Legion summer season, we won the regional tournament to qualify for the state tournament in Brownsville. We won our first game. The second day of the tournament we lost a close one 6-5. We were eliminated the following day with a loss to the defending state champions.

We had 3 all-conference first team players, catcher (Dan D.), infielder (Nick D.), and pitcher (Andy K.). Andy was unanimously voted by the conference coaches as the player of the year with a 9-0 record with a .845 ERA. He was the one you worked with, 6’6” 240# and did the StrikeOut Strippz daily as part of his practice routine. In his 58 innings pitched he had 72 strikeouts, 26 BB, and 29 hits. Andy credits his improved velocity and later break on his pitches to your StrikeOut Strippz pitching drills and learning how to lead with his hip.
